About Us
Who We Are
Yeshua Tiferet Yisrael is Hebrew for "Yeshua the Glory of Israel" (Luke 2:30-32). We are a Messianic
Jewish Fellowship comprised of Jews & Gentiles from all the nations, who worship Adonai our Father,
the God of Israel, and His Son Yeshua, the Divine Word, the living embodiment of Torah.
We
are a Torah-honouring congregation with a traditionally based yet modern and dynamic service,
including a children's Shabbat school. Come and experience with us the joy and delight of Shabbat in
Yeshua!
What We Believe
We believe that God our Father, Avinu Malkeinu, greatly loves mankind and seeks
for us to return to Him. He has given us His Word, authoritatively handed down to us by prophets and
men of God, inspired by Ruah ha Kodesh, the Holy Spirit. It is comprised of the Torah, Prophets,
Writings (the Tanakh Hebrew Bible) and the New Covenant (Brit Hadashah).
The Word of God
tells us the Father will send His Son Yeshua to die for our sins as the suffering Mashiah ben Yosef,
and to return and reign as the King Mashiah ben David. Yeshua came first for His people Israel and
then for all the nations, to bring us all back into a right relationship with our Father. God's
creation was made perfect, but sin brought corruption and death into this world, hence our need for
a Redeemer. Yeshua suffered and died for the sin of mankind, and rose from the grave after
three days, later ascending to Heaven. In the last days will be the resurrection of the dead and the
return of our Messiah Yeshua to take up the throne of David for eternity.
Our Vision
Realizing and reflecting The Divine Love, of God our Father through His Son Yeshua, that saves and transform lives, one by one.
Our Purpose
We exist as a lighthouse for the testimony of Yeshua in the Jewish community as
well as in the wider community. We are committed to the preservation of our Jewish identity within
the context of our faith in Yeshua, as well as to fostering a Messianic identity among Gentiles. We
serve as a place of fellowship, edification and support for Jewish & Gentile Messianic Believers, as
well as for all seekers of God.
Yeshua said, "You are the light of the world. A city set on a
hill cannot be hidden. Neither do you light a lamp, and put it under a measuring basket, but on a
stand; and it shines to all who are in the house. Even so, let your light shine before men; that
they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in Heaven." Mattityahu 5:14-16
